This is an awkward experiment using mostly the marquee tool and a low-pressure airbrush to create a stencil effect. I particularly had a hard time picking the right colors, but in the end I junked the adjustment layers altogether and went back to square one. I think I tried to go towards something Thai or Japanese. Don't know, don't matter.

This is a size down from the original 4000x6000.

I've done study in asian art myself and I have to say this astract piece captures it beautifully, fine use of color, although maybe a little too rich in reds and purple. But the overall effect is very well exucuted. Great stuff alphakx

You captured the traditional airbrush technique quite nicely, and spiced it up a little with a dab of 2D noise. Cool! :D
